Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville, the new Center for Health and Wellness located on Concord Road just behind Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health, will celebrate its grand opening with an invitation-only ribbon cutting on Wednesday, November 13 (4:30-6:30 pm) and a public open house on Thursday, November 14 (4:30-6:30 pm).
The brand-new Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville is an innovative approach to the design and delivery of health care services for a new generation. The 65,000-square-foot community will offer 30 service-rich assisted living apartments and 70 private and companion suites for those in need of top-of-the-line rehabilitative care, assisted living or long-term care. The handsomely appointed design and hotel-like environment will be comfortable and engaging with concierge-style delivery of services and intergenerational activities for the whole family including four different dining venues, a movie theater, fitness center, fire pit, walking trails, putting green, on-site hair salon and more. Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville accepts Medicare and private insurance, as well as private pay, and welcomes admissions 7 days a week.
Elected county and city officials are scheduled to attend the invitation-only ribbon cutting, along with Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville partners Mainstreet and LCS to celebrate the occasion. The Center will welcome guests from Crawfordsville and the surrounding communities for personal tours on Thursday, November 14 from 4:30-6:30 pm.
“The interest from the business community and the citizens of Crawfordsville has been outstanding and we’re so appreciative,” said Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville General Manager Colleen Matthews. “Seeing the finished product, and the reactions of those touring for the first time, will be exciting. I’ve had so many people comment to me already that it is unlike anything they’ve ever seen before.”
“This is a wonderful time for Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville,” continued Matthews. “We are beginning to welcome residents to our service-rich assisted living apartments and long-term care suites, and guests to our rehabilitative care suites. The unanimous response has been one of great appreciation for our intense focus on hospitality-driven health and wellness services.”
“Our goal with Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville is to create a unique community where seniors can receive the quality care they expect while living in a place they can really enjoy,” Zeke Turner, CEO of Mainstreet said. “Baby boomers are demanding the kind of high-end, hospitality-oriented amenities that Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville offers. This is a meaningful paradigm shift and just one of the many Centers we are building to transform the industry across the United States.”
